Season 2 opens a new raid of the game where your character should break the Sanctum of Domination and kill dreadful servants of the Banished One and Sylvanas.
For years the Jailer has remained within The Maw. At the moment he unites his huge armies in order to complete the last stage of his grand plan. Being aware of this, Bolvar gathers his allies to break into Torghast and attack powerful the Jailer.

A fierce beast of the Jailer, the Tarragrue, has been watching Torghast from its foundation. The monster has already trampled numerous souls and now it is waiting for other heroes willing to breach into the tower.
Many years ago Vain Odyn sold his eye to Mueh’zala to oversee the Shadowlands. But the Jailer used the Eye for his own needs. Today the magic Eye allows the Jailer to watch over his possessions and apparently even much farther.
Sylvanas` nine sisters are powerful winged creatures who have been devotedly serving her being ready to sacrifice themselves for her sake. In her desire to help the Jailer, Sylvanas calls her val’kyrs to struggle for her again.
The first Lich King, Ner’zhul, didn`t meet Jailers expectations and appeared to be not worthy in his eyes. For that he was doomed to endless torment as the remnants of his soul were buried in in spiked shadowsteel. Anyone, who crosses Ner'zhul`s way, will get the same suffering.
In his intention to fuel the armies of the Jailer, Soulrender Dormazain takes anima from prisoners of Torghast. He always succeeded in breaking even the strongest souls. However, the last victim occured to be quite resistant to his approaches. Dormazain will keep on looking for his weaknesses for centuries being feed by rage of prisoners.
Painsmith Raznal has been creating fatal traps in Torghast in order to capture his victims. He takes pleasure in listening to the scream of his prisoners in the halls of the tower, as a proof of his impeccable sadistic skills.
Being taken by the Jailer from unknown world, the warden is protecting “cyphers,” the wisdom of which is not clear to anyone. But if anyone wants to reveal the secrets of guardian`s mysterious makers, it will use the last power to annihilate them.
Mawsworn captured Roh-Kalo and bounded him to Jailer as a fatescribe shared a plenty of secrets with him. Now Roh-Kalo is looking for ways to create Shadowlands new fate being supported by the power of Torghast.
Kel’Thuzad is drawing upon an enormous power well, being waiting at the top of the soul river. He builds numerous machinations in order to annihilate mortal champion and prove the devotion to his master.
The desperate fight between the Jailer and mortals starts at the apex of the Sanctum. Sylvanas Windrunner is doing her best in her indeavour to protect the Banished One, and stands by him while he is implementing his plan.

New strong gems stolen from the bosses hiding in Sanctum of Domination, Shards of Domination can be used to reinforce your gear. They empowered the armour of the Jailer but now you can turn them into your advantage.The shards suggest three runic magic types such as Unholy, Blood, Frost. The horrible gems are generally added into gear with Domination sockets and help increase healing abilities and damage mitigation of the character. The Shards can be powerful separately anywhere, but when the same type three shards are socketed in your gear, they make a Rune Word. It makes your character so strong that he gets the ability to combat within Torghast, the Maw, the Sanctum of Domination. Every class offers 5 pieces of armor which can have a Domination socket which is possible to take from the raid. If you defeat bosses you will be rewarded with Stygian Embers. They will improve your Shards and later will increase their bonuses. You can rank up your Shards by visiting Bonesmith Heirmir in Korthia after you complete Chapter 3.

The players who will win Sylvanas Windrunner on Heroic or Mythic difficulties to the next level of raid can have the following achievements.
Ahead of the Curve: Defeat Sylvanas Windrunner on Heroic difficulty or higher before the beginning of the next raid grade.
Cutting Edge: Win Sylvanas Windrunner on Mythic difficulty before the beginning of the next raid grade.
