Gilded fossil is a special type of currency which should be put into a resonator to change crafting. This one of fossils puts on an implicit mod which says “Item sells for much more to vendors” and the item will be overvalued by vendors. A player can either buy POE Gilded fossil for 100K Azurite from Niko or it can be dropped in Fungal Cavern. It is also possible to exchange the fossil for 3 Chaos Orb with other Path of Exile gamers.
